First things things, when using our SoundCloud to MP3 downloader, it's important to know you have to have a certain type of URL for it to work properly. You might be wondering why this is. We're able to download any SoundCloud song or playlist that is public. If you are trying to download a private playlist of yours, it won't work unless you make it public first. More on that later.

These are all examples of links that work for either a SoundCloud song or playlist. They include grabbing the link from the web browser, clicking the 'copy link' button, selecting the share button and either using the provided link or selecting 'shorten link', as well as SoundCloud's personalized track link that they offer from their homepage.

The following is an example of the only type of links that do not work on MusicVerter's SoundCloud downloader:

Our SoundCloud downloader does not allow for personalized track playlists or private playlists as we cannot access private songs through SoundCloud's CDN. However, we can download a private SoundCloud playlist if you turn it into a public playlist. After it becomes a public SoundCloud playlist, you'll be able to download them using SoundCloud's mp3 converter.

The steps below show you how to turn a SoundCloud playlist from private to public:

Click 'Edit'
‍When you go to your playlist, click on the 'Edit' button

Change Privacy To 'Public'
‍Scroll to 'Privacy' at the bottom and select 'Public'

Step 3: Go to MusicVerter

Now that you have found the correct URL link to use for MusicVerter's SoundCloud Downloader, you can head over to www.MusicVerter.com.
